COLUMBUS, Ohio—CPD is looking for a burglary suspect Thursday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Columbus police issued a warrant for the arrest of 25-year-old Michael Mullins.

A police report said a woman living at a home on Tree Knoll Court on the city’s northeast side was awakened by Mullins repeatedly banging on her front door at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. Mullins asked the woman to allow him into her home and when she refused, the report said Mullins kicked open the front door and entered the home.

CPD said Mullins assaulted the woman and prevented her from calling for help.

Mullins fled the address about one hour later.

Charges of burglary and abduction were filed for Mullins’ arrest.
