BATAVIA, Ohio—A former suburban Cincinnati high school and youth basketball coach has pleaded guilty to charges that he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with teenage girls.
Randall Ralston of Hamilton County’s Anderson Township was indicted in October. He pleaded guilty Wednesday to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct involving two 15-year-old girls and three counts of sexual battery involving a girl who was 16 when Ralston began having sex with her in 2006.
Prosecutors say the 39-year-old Ralston coached the two 15-year-olds last summer. Clermont County prosecutor Daniel Breyer says teachers at a Glen Este High School in Union Township called police after the two got into a fight over Ralston.
Ralston faces 30 years in prison and a $60,000 fine. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 22 in Clermont County Common Pleas Court.
