Arrest Made In 2nd Homicide Of 2009

COLUMBUS, Ohio—An arrest was made Thursday in connection with a man suspected in a the second homicide of 2009.
The shooting occurred Saturday, Jan. 3 at about 11:48 a.m., when officers responded to a report of a shooting outside a home on Forest Street, NBC 4 reported.
Upon arrival, officers found Kendall Freeman, 40, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to Grant Medical center, where he was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday, Jan. 6, investigators issued a warrant for the arrest of 20-year-old Warren “Stevie” Tucker for one count of murder in connection with the shooting.
According to police, members of the U.S. marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Task Force arrested Tucker at a home on the city’s east side at about 9:45 a.m.
Investigators are still searching for Tucker’s vehicle—described as a red Chevrolet Tahoe with tinted windows and an Ohio license plate EDP 4736.
