The new health care law prohibits plans from providing less than $750,000 worth of coverage.

These waivers offer an exemption to this requirement, impacting more than 2.2 million U.S. workers. Democrats say that the waivers are an example of the Obama administration and the business community working together. But Republicans say the very fact that so many waivers are needed underscores the need to repeal the law.
